Get Creative with Images Flickr -- http://www.flickr.com Owned by Yahoo, Flickr is a tremendous resource for images. Many Flickr users have chosen to "share" their work with a Creative Commons license, and you can browse or search through photos under each type of license. http://flickr.com/creativecommons/ My del.icio.us bookmarks for Flickr-related websites: FdFlickr Toys -- http://bighugelabs.com/flickr/ Editing Your Masterpieces Picnik is a great free tool for editing images within Flickr (now integrated) or from your computer. A pro account ($24.95 yr.) will provide additional editing options. Telling Your Story Voicethread.com provides a powerful tool for combining still images, video and audio into an online presentation. Voicethreads can be shared, and others can leave text or audio comments. Review of Voicethread from Wes Fryer and Podcast about the new "educator" features... Educator accounts are free, and now available as "authenticated" http://del.icio.us/cchausis/voicethread Scrapblog.com allows you to combine your photos, videos, audio and text for online multi-media scrapbooks. Mini-tour at http://scrapblog.com/tour/tour.aspx Bubbleshare.com -- combine images, and audio in online slideshows. Free tools make uploading easy for both Macs and PCs. The site is a bit flashy with advertising. Provides the "code" to embed your slideshows into blogs, wikis, etc. "Create and Collaborate" wiki examples of embedded content (Voicethread and Bubbleshare) Animoto.com -- create a "flashy" slide show in just a few clicks.
