Illinois Education Technology Conference (IETC), November 15, 2007 -- Springfield, IL Wiki wiki is a Hawaian-language word that means fast. A classroom wiki can provide educators with a place to publish information on the web in just a few clicks of the mouse -- without having to know html code. Wikis can be public or private, and students can help with the maintenance and upkeep. And, they are free for educators! Whether you are a teacher or administrator, wikis provide a fast and easy way to extend and enrich your curriculum or education practice. Establish your own wikispace on the web, and master the tools for managing a secure and safe place for you and your students or colleagues to collaborate online.
